My Background

I attended McMaster University where I studied communications and business. I received my BA in business then continued my studies with a wide variety of interest subjects including Cyber Crime at Laurier University.

10 years ago, I retired from the court system in Northern Ontario and moved to Brantford. I have always been active in my community, from cooking for the Cub Scouts at Mount Nemo camp, cooking at Friendship House, volunteering at the Food Bank, to sitting on a variety of Boards.

Currently, I am the President of the Grand River Council on Aging, Vice President of the Community Resource Centre (Brantford Food Bank) Chair of the City of Brantford's Accessibility Committee.  Serving on several community boards, I am always advocating for diversity and inclusion and I am passionate about supporting local community initiatives.

Community has always been important to me. I am a business owner, community volunteer and civic leader dedicated to building strong, inclusive communities. I bring expertise in communication, organization, and service.

Outside my professional and volunteer work, I enjoy boxing, dancing with the Ontario Rhythm Cloggers and staying actively engaged in community events.
